Cole Valley Christian Schools in Meridian, Idaho is devoted to providing a Christ-centered education to its students. Through a partnership with families and churches, the school strives to equip, shape and disciple the HEARTS, HEADS and HANDS of its students. The school offers a unique instructional program that includes a multi-sensory, small-group academic approach, allowing students to learn at their individual level in a dynamic, Bible-based community. In grades 1 through 5, students begin and end the day with a classroom teacher and then rotate to separate teachers specializing in language arts and mathematics.
Additionally, the school provides after-school enrichment classes and athletic programs for students to learn and grow in their particular areas of interest. Valley Christian School also offers special services for students whose public school district provides Title I services. These students are identified based on academic risk and will be provided with services during the school day and during summer school. Moreover, Cole Valley Christian Schools is one of the few Christian schools in the country that offers a fully operational special education program.
The school believes that all children deserve a Christian education and that children with disabilities not only receive the ministry, but they also minister to others through their uniqueness and individuality, reflecting the image of God in humanity. The special education program is designed to meet the individual needs of each student by providing an individualized learning plan tailored to their specific needs. This plan includes instruction in academics, social skills, communication skills, behavior management, physical therapy, occupational therapy, speech therapy, and other related services.
